Retropie doesn´t recognise my dual joystick
-
Hello guys
I´m experiencing some problems using retropie with my homemade two players joystick.
I built the joystick interface following this site´s info.
http://vusb.wikidot.com/project:mamepanelThe problem is that retropie doesn´t regognise this dual joystick. It takes both sticks as if they were the same.
Time ago I was using my raspberry pi 2 and retropie 3.2.1, and I got a solution on this thread...
http://blog.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/autofire-on-the-axis/page/4/
I downloaded and installed the custom kernell posted on the thread, and it started to recognise the joystick as dual.
But now I have a raspberry pi 3, and I have to use retropie 3.6 or 3.7, and now this trick doesn´t work.
Does anybody know a way to solve this problem on a raspberry pi3?
Thanks in advance.

So, with this setup, it doesn't register as two events or two jsX entries at
/dev/inputs/

Making RetroPie identify 2 players instead of one with the Xin-Mo, THT Arcade console 2P USB Player
Add the following to /boot/cmdline.txt (just add a space to the existing entry so its all on one line)
usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x05e1:0x040The first two numbers the vendor/product (16c0 and 05e1).
You can find your vendor/product using lsusb -
Hi guys!!!
Yes, it registers as one entrie, js0 at /dev/input/Wachi, I´ve followed your instructions and it worked!! Now it´s working fine the dual controllers.
