Cannot map buttons using NES30 Pro
-
I'm having an issue with my NES30 pro when trying to map the buttons. When I go into retropie_setup.sh I can register the controller and it shows that it's active when I look at the display but when I start emulation station it will not recognize any button push.
Also need to know what drivers I need to download in the retropie_setup.sh for the controller to use. I tried PS3 but it knocks the Bluetooth out so I've been using the Xbox360 drivers.
This is the only tutorial I could find.........
https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Setting-up-a-Bluetooth-controller
When it calls for the name on the {brackets} it says exactly like it reads on the display or register. Do i add the NES30 part after the space or just the nu:mb:er:s?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry about that. Here's the link to the video I used. The tutorial starts about 10 minutes in.

You don't need to download any drivers. Just run retropie_setup.sh and pair your controller. Then launch emulationstation and follow the onscreen instructions for your controller. If you are using Firmware version 1.69, you will need to edit your retroarch keybinds after set up.
See my post in this thread for proper keybindings with 1.69: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/1809/8bitdo-controller-with-3-8-update/14

When can we expect an updated written tutorial for 3.8.1 sonce thier are so many changes?
I love the new setup format. It telling you what you do and do not have installed and so on is awesome and saves guess work. No more installing twice.

@Duhjoker Most of the Bluetooth changes are since 3.8.1 - so you would need to update the RetroPie script to have them.
So I'l probably update the Wiki once the next image is produced.
