I do rather like the look of the FC30 pro so decided to bite the bullet and give it a go- Might I ask where you purchased from? I've tried their site but can't input any postcode or pay via PayPal. For crying out loud 8bitdo! I want to give you money!! There's a lot of eBay versions, but never quite sure what your gonna get from them:( So just curious as to what you folks would recommend? Has anyone had issues with fake versions and such?

I have both FC30 pro and FC30, and while both are nice controllers, I have a HUGE preference for the FC30 as it is the same form factor as the real NES controller. The pro,I use with my smartphone and find that it is too small to be held comfortably for long periods.

I am waiting for the SNES30 Pro that is coming out in december: Snes controller, with two analog sticks like the PS gamepad...

I don't usually use amazon but it turned out cheaper than all the other options! Thanks for the input folks, can't wait to have a go with it:) Why their website is so awkward is beyond me, but saving money in the process? All good ☺️

Ordered at 9pm last night, set up and playing both on phone and Retropie very soon after getting home tonight. Gotta be impressed with Amazon's service. Box a little bashed but contents fine, and very very happy with the look and feel.
I agree with @SleepyOwl in that it may be less comfortable over time, but it's soooo damn cool!!

Thanks again @BuZz @SleepyOwl and @ExarKunIv for your input and advice.

As an aside, do you use the 4.0 firmware or legacy? I opted for legacy just so I have the ability to use it on the phone as well.

I have updated both of mine so they'd worked with my son's Switch, but they still both work elsewhere, except my FC30 pro that wont connect as a second BT controller on my Retropie setup, but I suspect I may be doing something wrong...

@sleepyowl Funnily enough me too, just using it as a plug in USB controller but probably still need to manually set the hack mode to 0 (thought that was just a bt thing)
Who knows, lots of playing around to do with it:)

Edit: Yup, even with just usb connection hack mode needs changing to off.
