I have done a fresh install this morning, absolutely no customizations of the system and setup the latest RetroPie from github.

lr-ppsspp is working well but Plain Jane ppsspp refuses to load with the following error message in the runcommand.log:

/opt/retropie/emulators/ppsspp/PPSSPPSDL: error while loading shared libraries: libzip.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

      RPi3b+ - No overclock
RetroPie - latest from Github, as always

I guess missing a dependency. I'll add it - you can do this in the meantime - sudo apt-get install libzip-dev

oh gosh, i was guessing that was it but i told myself (without checking of course!) "libzip-dev sounds pretty basic and I must already have that, the problem obviously lies elsewhere!" lol

thanks @BuZz that got it working for me again!
