      Hi,

      I read about the installation on Ubuntu 16.04/Debian 8.
      Is it possible to install RetroPi on Ubuntu 14.04 or are there any known restrictions/dependencies/problems?

      Best regards
      corax

        @corax On what hardware ?

        On a PC, you probably should go with at least 16.04 - 14.04 is quite old, and you may have issues as we don't test with that version anymore.

          Yes on a PC.
          I have to stay at 14.04, I know ist old.
          If there no known reasons I will give it a try.

            @corax i am pretty sure you will have some troubles with some packages, but you can try. However 14.04 is no longer officially supported or tested.
