So I have hooked up my Xin-Mo controller and have retropie recognising the 2nd player controls. When I run emulators like SNES/GENISIS etc it all works fine with 2 players. When I run MAME, it works but not as I would expect and was wondering if anyone has a solution. When I play a turn based game like pacman. Both player 1 and player 2 uses the player 1 controls. But when I play a game that has both players playing at once (Track & Field), it works fine with both controls. Is there a way so that when a turn based game is running, player 1 and player 2 use their controls? Hope this makes sense. BTW I have gone in and edited the button set up inside MAME (TAB key).

Just thinking maybe Pac Man was a one player game with a two player turn option so it only thinks it has one set of controls? I am going to be using a Xin-Mo, care to share with me the place you went to learn about installation? Is it pretty easy? Sorry to go off topic but I can't seem to PM you.

@GreenHawk84 As I remember the arcade pacman game was a single player control and if 2nd player game required to share control. I don't remember ever playing the original 80's arcade game.

I believe the cocktail table rom of 'Pac-Man' has a competitive play feature for two players.
