system not reading nes or snes files
-
Okay so my friend got raspberry pi. He's Not tech savvy so I set it up. Loaded it with nes and snes rom titles only. I liked it so I got one. I of course loaded it with more games from other systems but nes and snes roms are not showing up. They are the same files as my friends and his runs flawlessly. We are both running the same version os, retropie and model pi. None of the roms are zipped or nested. The have proper file extensions. I've toggled parse on off. Restarted systems, which sometimes causes other emulators to disappear or reappear randomly. Everything is placed in its correct directory and I have played other emulators just fine. I Even completely started over from scratch and reinstalled everything. I Have some head scratching as to why one pi would be so different from the other. I have yet to really dive deep into the cryptic settings and configurations. Not sure where to start.
