I watched a video online that told me to go to retropie settings and configure emulators to use dispmanx SDL......well since I selected that, genesis games don’t run quite as well. They stutter a bunch now and the sound screws up

I wish I had never selected that. I can’t seem to figure how to put it back how it was. Anyone know?

@dogeymon You should be able to disable dispmanx by going back to where you enabled it in RetroPie setup. Just select it and press enter.

Really? Ok it just doesn’t act like anything is different. The selection says the same thing every time I go to the menu. No message anywhere is saying if I turned it off or on.

But if you’re sure well then I did.

@dogeymon Did that do the trick? Is everything good with your Genesis gameplay now?

@dogeymon Good to hear! Also try switching up your emulators if some games aren't working great. If I remember correctly, Pier Solar didn't work well with the default Genesis emulator but when I used a different one, it ran much better. Glad your Genesis isn't ruined :)
