Attractmode - delete current Rom/system setup?

Hey guys
New to emulation station and the Pi but super experienced with hyperspin on the cabinet end.
I've got this brand new pi3 setup, working with 8 systems. I want to try and start messing with attractmode, as I already have all the media needed for every system on my cabinet.
Does attractmode delete current emulation station setup if I install it from the experimental packages section? Or does all your current setup systems and roms get untouched and you can start populating the media side of things?
It took a long time to upload my romsets last night so I'm going to know this answer before I proceed.
