PPSSPP installation error "Could not successfully build lr-ppsspp .... ppsspp_libretro.so not found)
-
Hello Guys. I have trouble installing either the normal ppsspp emulator or the libretro version. The setup always stops at the same spot with the same error: " Could not successfully build lr-ppsspp - PlayStation Portable emu - PPSSPP port for libretro (/home/Micha/Retropie-Setup/tmp/build/lr-ppsspp/libretro/ppsspp_libretro.so not found)". I installed other packages like lidesmume without problems its just the psp ones. Error Log: link text

The error above came from the libretro ppsspp package i now ran the normal ppsspp another time because it has a different error: "Could not successfully build ppsspp - PlayStation Portable emulator PPSSPP (/home/Micha/Retropie-Setup/tmp/build/ppsspp/ppsspp/PPSSPPSDL not found)" again some file is missing. @dastronkh Care to share it with the rest of us? I'm having this same problem. Thanks.

@diptherio Care to explain your error ? The original poster was trying to install on Ubuntu or other supported x86 distro, but you haven't given any information about yours - is it a RPI or a pc ?

@mitu Thanks for the response. My issue is exactly the same as the posters. Attempting to install the lr-ppsspp emulator on a PC running Ubuntu MATE and receiving the same error message as the poster. I've done this successfully on another machine with the same OS, so I'm a bit confused.
