      hi

      just got my r pi3

ive flashed retropi and it boots up ok. ive got myself a few roms on a dongle and they detect in retropi

when i try to play a game it says error logged to dev/shm/rumcommand.log so i do a quick google which tells me i need a bios.

so... ive come here to find one or a tutorial but i cant seem to find one.

i want to play ps1, snes, mega drive etc.

any help is more than grateful, cheers

For ps1 you do need a bios file. Google will find them.

@koooowweeee did you look for the file name or just try "playstation bios"?

I don't know the name of the file. I've just looked in the sub sections for info on it.

I'm a total noon I've had the pi a few days. I've got the mega drive games to work and a N64 game. Although it didn't run well at all. Seemed to run at 17fps

@koooowweeee Start with https://retropie.org.uk/docs/, each emulator has it's own detailed description, including whether it needs a bios file, what's the bios name and checksum.
Just like the RetroPie doesn't distribute ROMs, the forums are not a place to ask for or point to ROMs or other copyrighted material, so you'll not find a link to the BIOS files here.
Start with the docs and if you still have problems - ask away.
