Eduke32(Duke Nukem 3D)Question Can You Play Custom Maps?
-
Morning all!
I did some research yesterday to find some more cool classic shooters that the pi can play came across that duke nukem 3d runs pretty well on the pi3 it even uses the port Eduke32 which is nice because modding is then possible???
Im wondering if thats also possible on the pi then?
Because on the pc you can play all kinds of custom user fan made levels for duke nukem 3d and since the pi has got Eduke32 it should work right?
For pc to play these user made levels all you need is the game and a source port like Eduke32 so im guessing it will work on the pi the same way but im not sure have any of you tried this yet and can confirm if it works or not? -

It's part of RetroPie as a port - https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Duke-Nukem-3D

@mitu yeah i know the port Eduke32 is there but does that mean i can play all the extra mods/user made levels as well then because they use Eduke32?
Or am i limited to Just the game OR shareware version and thats it? -
I think you can play other 'mods' or custom maps with it - did you try and could not ?
