      I'm thinking of picking up a Zotac NUC to power Kodi and Retropie... How does the N64 Emulator run on intel 400 series graphics? (It'll have at least 1gb ram dedicated to it). Will this also be enough to run PS1 stably?

        It depends a bit on which Zotac mini-pc you plan on buying, but if you buy one with a decent i5 you should be ok. N64 emulation seems to be a problem no matter what (or perhaps I need to have a closer look at other emulators, but Mupen64 is glitchy, and MAME is too slow), but PS1 runs quite well on my Zotac id68, and that's an old model.

          I was thinking the BI325. It uses a N3160 intel quad core 1.6ghz with 2.24ghz turbo boost. It has intel HD 400 graphics... Would this be enough?

            @phoenixjedi
            Based on my experience with the id68 I'd say you'll see some slowdown, but perhaps others have more experience with this CPU. Perhaps it's wise to visit the PCSX forums?

              Well I'm thinking it seems more powerful than the Pi3, and its quad core compared to your dual core.... Soooo yeah.

                True, but neither the N64 nor the PS1 emulators really use more than 2 cores as far as I know, so that computer will be (slightly?) slower than the one I have. I already experience some slowdown on some games, so I figure you will as well. Overall it should be quite useful as an emulation platform though, but for more accurate answers you should visit the forums for the emulators you wish to use.

                  This ended up working quite well.. I picked up an Intel NUC instead of the Zotac.. Plays everything from NES to PS1 with no problem.
