Showing off my new tribute case
-
Thought I would show off my new case. Designed in Fusion360 and 3d printed on a Prusa Mk2 and Printrbot simple metal it features functioning buttons that shut down and start the Pi back up
A script loaded at startup runs in the background and executes the shutdown command when the yellow button is pressed, I soldered pins onto the Piβs restart header, connected to the green button which starts the pi backup

@iclint this is glorious.
If the button and joystick both worked to control games... That would be something to behold. Power button is a brilliant idea too though
-
Damn! Thatβs rad!
-
Love it :-)

*You hear Michael Rosen somewhere in the distance:
-clicking sound- "Noice"
(No, but seriously this is pretty cool!)
-
@iclint good job guy! Chuck Norris approves it π
-
Yeah, @iclint could've had power buttons on the side of the base and used the buttons on top for gaming purposes. Then it would have felt like a really cool RetroPie themed Atari 2600 controller. But, it looks cool anyways. π

Making one with a real arcade stick and buttons would be a peice of cake ... or pie.
