Gamemaker module only shows "Package Help" in the setup script while trying to install it.
File a bug, I'll take a look as soon as I can.

Will Mehstation ever be a part of the RetroPie-Extra Repository?

@zerojay Thank you for helping to bring the TI99 to RetroPie. This was the first system my family had. I have so many great memories of this. Tombstone City forever!
-
Is there any possibility of a port of AM2R to RetroPie?
-
@Charco The full linux version was supposed to be released, but Nintendo sent a DMCA and shut it down. There is both an unoffical linux version and linux demo build.

@zerojay

Okay, so after a long absence and various issues with SD cards killing themselves relatively quickly, I'm back and I've been putting in a lot of work the last few days.

Great to see that it's even complete with logo and controller graphics, I added "beebem" and it's showing up great in the ES menu. (You have to add the extensions to es_systems.cfg manually).
So... git clone https://github.com/zerojay/RetroPie-Extra.git will get the new version to install it properly, if I already have the previous one on the Pi?
By the way, among things I can confirm is that freesynd indeed doesn't seem to run, as mentioned above. "Bermuda Syndrome" seems to run correctly, without the save/load menus (though there's no way to exit the game, so you have to yank the Pi power cable out...)

You're able to directly launch games with Beebem? If so, I'll make the changes needed.

It will copy the updated scripts and then you have to run the setup script and choose which ones to update.

Freesynd ran for me in the past but was unstable.

Pretty sure you can hit ESC to quit but I'll have to check that.

By the way, if you want to keep track of what I'm doing and working on for the RetroPie-Extras repo, it's always a good idea to check Twitter (@zerojay) or Mastodon (http://social.zerojay.com/@zerojay) as I post everything there under the #retropie hashtag.
Zelda: Navi's Quest, a fan game, showing up later today:

Hi @zerojay , just wanted to say a big thank you for your work with these extra ports and emulators! Finding sorr and openxcom in your repository was a great day indeed, seeing as they are two of my favourite ports/mods and they both work excellently.
I noticed on your GitHub page you list XDLash/Xash (HL1) and jswp (Shadow Warrior) ports as ones you'd like to tackle in the future, I was just wondering if that's still the intention and if you had anything you'd like me to try out for you - I'm very interested in seeing how they both come out. Shadow Warrior does run through dosbox but the fps is pretty terrible :/
Thanks again!

@sonicsheppard I second this. Some great stuff in @zerojay 's extra repo.

Hi @zerojay , just to let you know that your
install-extras.sh
is missing:cp -R scriptmodules/libretrocores/* "/home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/libretrocore
so the mame2003 mod is not showing up in the experimental section. Easy to add manually. Just thought I'd let you know so you could update.
-
@jonnykesh Good catch, I'll fix that.
EDIT: Done. -
@zerojay
glad that you are back.I dont know if im doing something wrong, but
roadfighter.sh
always seems to error out when i try to run the setupand i have updated with
git clone https://github.com/zerojay/RetroPie-Extra.git
, but i dont see anything new that you have listed on your earlier post.i must be doing something wrong
EDIT dont know why but it made a new folder within the current one, so i had to just move somethings around
EDIT again. ok i tried roadfighter after i got the new .sh files in there. now it works. THX @zerojay

I haven't changed anything about that in particular so... cool. :)

That's funny. I tried it before I updated the install script. And it errored out. But after it installed fine. But whatever it worked. Lol

A few more things that were recently added:
zeldapicross - A Zelda themed Picross fangame.
nkaruga - A demake of Ikaruga, fangame.Coming later tonight:
pokemini - A Pokemon Mini emulator, new system to add to your Retropie. -
@zerojay any chance you would be able to add Phoenix v2.8 3do emulator to your Extra Repository? It would probably have to run from "Ports" since it launches roms from it's own interface. Another user here said the emulation is greatly improved over the 4do emulator.
