Mega Man 11

@zerojay I added that to the OP
-
@zerojay I mean, that should be pretty obvious. Kinda odd no one has been able to get Mega Man 9 or 10 working on RetroPie yet though. They're essentially NES games.
-
Man, I was hyped as soon as I unexpectedly saw the Switch announcement trailer in my subscriptions on YouTube (since I am subscribed to Nintendo). I actually had no idea this existed until I saw it.

Yeah, you would think... but I just know there's going to be a lot of people asking anyways.

Gameinformer's upcoming magazine cover. ♥

@hyruleslink It's a bit more complicated than that though; they're using NES-style graphics and audio, but the two are modern games that are designed to run on modern hardware. For them to run on a NES emulator, everything would have to be completely rebuilt from the ground up, and a fan project of that caliber might draw way too much attention from Capcom.
-
@eldrethor I realize that possibility, it still surprises me that a fan or two hasn't made a seious attempt. Especially during the past decade of Mega Man drought. I would think the fan made Mega Man Maker would also get Capcom's attention, but it happened and is still available.

They are aware of it.

There is this 'MegaMan 9' rom hacking project that uses 'Mega Man 3' as a base. However, the progress seems to have stalled in 2013.

Can you play this on the Pi?

Seriously though, I hope it's more action and less dialogue boxes. It's funny because I just rewatched this AVGN episode about Mega-man the other day and it reminded me of how much filler they added to slow down the action.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
