first time on pizerow. help

Fresh everything. Got it working fine on a pi 3 but on the zero w not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a keyboard plugged and screen going over hdmi. I can't connect over wifi yet since it doesn't know my wifi password. I see [OK] reached target login prompts. Try different keyboards and it detects them but won't let me type anything. How do I login? Any body go an idea?

Forget it. Got it. Rebooting let me get into emulation station. Oddly keyboard would not work until after I set up a usb game pad. All set thx.
