      Hi,

I want to play online games using my Rasp 3&Retropie, but as NetPlay Docs is saying you can play any multiplayer game but to play you need the server IP and same ROMS. So if people are interesting in playing online please post here the game version & IP so others can join.
I'm sure people here would like this:D
I can host a bunch of games please let me know if you are interested and try to make it. BTW I'm open to any type of game :D

@vzapo I would love to see if it is possible to netplay arcade games like Gauntlet or Gauntlet 2. Or, is this just for home consoles?

I didn't try game because I have only one raspberrypi. But I can host some games if you guys want and we can try out what works and what not.
@caver01 I didn't try Gauntlet but that could be a good start. Wanna try this weekend ? I'm gonna make a host and you to try and join ? Based on the Retropie docs that should be possible, but this might be also emulator dependent and maybe some emulators just can't do online. Anyway the best way to find out is trying and Gauntlet 2 looks like a good start.

UK / London GMT time. A bit of hard to play :( but I'll try and host anyway and will let the host open for a longer period of time. I will post a bit more details later on with time&date, ip, and the game runing(Rom version).

                  Hope to play online soon:D
                  Hf until then.

The guy primarily responsible for the current Netplay in RetroArch has done a fair bit of testing and his results can be found here. You'll notice the MAME cores are listed as needing an especially fast network to function properly. However, fbalpha is listed as having only minor hiccups and I believe it supports both 'Gauntlet' titles. All that said, he lists Stella as having the same problem as MAME and I've had pretty good luck with 2600 games over Netplay, so it's probably still worth experimenting with, despite his listed recommendations.

I would love to join anyone here for some online retro goodness.

Any chance someone might want to start a Discord channel on this?
