      I have been using Tronsmart g01 controllers and absolutely love them. BUt for whatever reason only the D-pad was working with Retropie (using 3.8.1). I've been able to get it working with installing/enabling the xbox360 driver and editing this :

      Edit this file:
      /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg

      Set
      input_libretro_device_p1 = “5”
      where p1 above is the player number, like p1, p2, etc

      and set
      input_player1_analog_dpad_mode = “1”
      for each player also.

      But can we add this to the retroarch.cfg for the next release? Or if you guys know of a better way, please let me know. Thanks.

      And BTW, everyone who works on this project is AMAZING!!!

        @demesauce not everyone has analogue sticks so it makes little sense to enable it for everyone.

        It's simple enough to edit from the configuration editor

          This doesn't force analog controls. In fact the analog sticks still outputs digital only, other coding is required to use the analog sticks with analog output.

          But to be fair, I've never played around in the configuration editor, I'll take a look. Thanks

            We did actually have it enabled by default before and it caused serious problems and additional time for me to put together a new image. Although these problems are fixed now, I prefer to just have it in the configuration editor

              How can I get the analog sticks to function in emulation station as well? Right now they work in all the systems, but not the actual emulation station menu? Thanks guys
