      Hi all,

I have installed the latest retropie/emulationstation image for a raspberry pi zero into a clone NES controller (not USB type). I've been following the Instructables here for the NESPI.

I've also installed the gamecon_gpi_rpi driver as instructed.

Now, when I boot, I see the message "Failed to start Load Kernel Modules". (Very first line of Linux boot screen).

Has anyone experienced this and solved it?

Needless to say, the NES controller D-Pad and buttons are not detected.

      Many thanks for any guidance.

Did you install the gamecon driver manually or via the retropie-setup option ?
