So I built an arcade game for my wife with just about a dozen classic arcade games. Millipede, asteroids, paceman etc...while we use a two player controller (Tankstick) I have programmed opposite buttons o the joystick being used..so the player is centered. It works fine with the player 1 joystick using the player 2 fire button. But is there a way to select player 2 to play player 1 games so I can right hand the player 2 joystick and left hand the player 1 fire button?

if I can figure out how to play all games using the player 2 position I can get the rest to work

I figured it out based on a completely unrelated posts.

When you hit the "TAB" key after entering the game, you can hit "enter" a second time after configuring the movement and it will allow an "or" action to be bound to that command. So for those who don't know what I am referring to, for the P1-Left I hit enter then move the joy stick left then hit enter again and hit the player 2 joystick left.

This allows me to use either or joystick for any player one game.
