@drake999 lr-beetle-supergrafx and lr-beetle-pce-fast are the only two. Lr-Beetle-pce-fast superceded lr-mednafen-pce. Mednafen-pce exist anymore (the upstream repo doesn't even exist)

@herb_fargus Ok, so if I were to update my setup script would I find this under the binaries selection sub-menu? I'm pretty sure I tried that and only seen "lr-mednafen-pcs-fast" but I will try again.

@drake999 see here for the new menu layout: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Updating-RetroPie I don't remember what supergrafx is under. Optional or exponential

loom runs fine for me, using these bios SYSCARD3.PCE in the rom folder.
if still no, chech your cue file

Hey @InsecureSpike - I finally got around to testing this. I have the syscard3.pce file in both the BIOS and in the PC-Engine rom folder too. Nothing has changed. I am still motivated by the fact that you have Loom working on your end though. I even tried renaming it to all capital-letters SYSCARD3.PCE and I renamed loom's files to just loom.bin and loom.cue (as well as inside of the CUE file) - it just goes to a black screen after the CD BIOS loads and I press the "run" button (start)

I have tried both emulators for the PCE as well.

RetroPie - latest from Github, as always

hmmm, would you be able to share with me a checksum of your bin/iso file or even the filename that it was obtained as? I must have tried in the past hour 6-7 different copies of the game that I could find on google.

again, I am thrilled to hear that it is working well though!

@proxycell Did you ever happen to get Loom working? I'm having the same issue where it just goes to a black screen, though other TG16CD games are working fine.

no, sadly - I'm guessing it is an upstream emulator issue and not related to retropie directly

@insecurespike Can you post a checksum or something similar for your working copy? I've managed to dig up 3 different images so far and all exhibit the same issue.

On the topic of checksums, I did some more digging and found this forum post which set the gears turning:

                                https://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?107785-PC-Engine-CD-Turbo-Duo-TurboGrafx-CD-Raspberry-Pi-Zero&p=1877571#post1877571

I compared the checksum on my syscard3.pce to the ones listed on the github wiki, and sure enough, found that my file matched the "TurboGrafx CD Super System Card (USA) (v3.0).pce" file, and not the syscard3.pce file. Downloaded the one with the correct checksum, and Loom started right up!
