After a package update this morning, ES refused to start erroring with Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
After checking emulationstation binary, this turns out to be an ELF 64-bit LSB executable. No idea if this is linked, but it sounds iffy to me? I am now trying to build from source to see if this solves the initial problem (Syntax error).

I did update the binaries last night, and looks like something went wrong - not sure how, am looking into it (I can confirm the problem and will fix)
