N64 ROMs got deleted after installing DraStic
-
My setup is:
Raspberry Pi 3 running RetroPie (desktop later added), along with GameWizard.
Official Touchscreen
Power Supply: 1A for screen, 2.5A for Pi.
USB keyboardI recently got RetroPie with GameWizard on my Raspberry Pi 3, and installed some N64 ROMs (Super Mario World 64, Madden 2002, etc.). These ROMs worked fine, so I thought I would try NDS games. The touchscreen did not work with the ls-desmume emulator, so I installed DraStic emulator. The touchscreen then worked (not very accurate though) and the games played fine. I also added some NDS BIOS, though I don't remember where from. (Nintendo website, maybe?) However, after using DraStic for a while, I tried N64 games again, but all it would show was the icon/image that is shown in the game list, then after about 5 seconds it would go back to the ROMs list. I tried deleting DraStic to see if that was the problem, nothing changed with N64. I then tried to update from the RetroPie setup. I did a full update. When I rebooted, it promptly deleted my N64 games, along with all my progress. My NDS games were still there.
I am wondering what may have happened, and what I can do to avoid this in the future?
Thanks! -
