    I've seen it on the commits on github but I have never been able to get it to work, despite my best efforts. Has it actually been merged into the "stable" branch of ES?

      If you turn on the cec function on your pi and put on Anynet+ (on Samsung tv's) with auto power on, you can see if the TV turns on when you power your pi.
