    I want to do cleanup of my roms. Is there any way instead of going Settings, Rom settings, delete, confirm to bind a button on my pad/keyboard to be that DELETE button?

    tnx

      @skullmonkey Never heard of that. If the roms are on your sd, then the quickest way would be to use your computer. First make sure your Pi is connected to your network (use wifi for example). Then open windows explorer (assuming you're on windows) and write \\RETROPIE . This will give you access to your roms.

        I'm aware of that. Thats how I put the roms there in the first place but there are lots that are duplicates and I want to see the screen shot/poster from the game so I know what I'm deleting.

          @skullmonkey There is no direct way to delete the ROM from the gamelist in ES, this action is only available when you edit the entry - as you're doing it right now.
          If you want to filter our easily the duplicates and remove stuff you don't need, why don't you use something like Romcenter or Clrmamepro ?

            @mitu They both ask for Windows version of Mame (for example) ... kinda downer. You cant just browse for roms and get the list of it.

              I don't use it, but you could try to use WebtroPie (web frontend) to achieve what you want to do.

                  @sano Thanks from me, too. I didn't know about Webtropie and I always missed an easy way to delete games in Emulation Station.

                    @skullmonkey I'm currently boiling a script ...
                    This will delete ROMs via GamePad input.
                    Be prepared with a bit patience ;)

                        @skullmonkey It's already done and in version 0.81
                        I called it BashROMManager

                        It does not support subdirectories but let us select ROMs folder for each system.
