I read online that you can change the hotkeys on N64 in
      /opt/retropie/configs/all/autoconf.cfg
however when I typed that in to the console in retropie, I just got Permission Denied.

@jeffery565 Start from https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Nintendo-64/. Editing a file on a Linux system - as on any other OS - needs an text editor. Type

        nano <path_to_filename>

to edit a text file, replacing <path_to_filename> with the actual file path.

Hi @mitu I just got onto my mac and I opened the mupen64plus.cfg file but I can't figure out what the buttons, for example 1 or 2, are mapped to.
