Pi Model or other hardware: Pi3
      Power Supply used: Official Raspberry
      RetroPie Version Used : 4.3
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: Venom Arcade Stick
      Controller used: Venom Arcade Stick
Error messages received: corrupted double-linked list
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant): no log found

      Hi,
First of all, sorry for my english.
I use Google translate in some sentences.

When I go down game to game, when I get to some in particular, it goes out of the menu and goes to command line. If I delete the game that makes me see the error, it keeps appearing in the next game. It seems only happens in video mode. If I delete the video, same error. I have reinstalled 0, same error.
If I put screensaver, sometimes the same thing happens ... But it always happens at the same point whatever the video is. The errors that appear are: corrupted double-linked list and Segmentation Fault.

      Thanks!

@eenricc I understand you used Google Translate but I'm not sure what you mean by video mode.

Do you mean when browsing games in EmulationStation?

Is your Pi overclocked? Crashes like this are a sign of instability.

          Yes, when browsing games.
          And no, is not overclocked.
Only happens in video view. If change to "detailed view", don't crash.

Where did you scrape the videos from and what format are they?

@eenricc Have you tried enabling OMX Player (Other Settings - Use OMX Player (HW Accelerated)?

                Scraped with Universal XML Scraper.
Then to reduce size, with Handbrake passed to 320x240 in MP4 and H.256

If I enable OMX Player, the videos are not visible

@eenricc They're low resolution but H.265 will still hit the CPU pretty hard. The Pi has no hardware decoder for H.265.

I would use H.264 and enable OMX Player.

You could also try increasing the VRAM limit, especially if you're using a heavy theme.

                      Yeah, OMX won't play H.265.

According to this thread H.265 decoding can overheat your Pi fast if you don't have at least a decent heatsink.

                            H264 runs perfectly. Thanks!
