Hi All, Please help a Noob setup his DragonRise Setup

Hi Guys,

So far I have all the Mame stuff running great! Very simple by pressing F4 and mapping the controls.

However I know bugger all.
I know what I want and what my keys are via the DragonRise usb decoder thanks to the Mame setup.
Below is what I want(does it look correct?), but ....where to put it? and how?
Please note I have managed to SSH to my Pi over wifi so I can drop roms in the correct folder.
I can see the config folders for each emulater but I don't know how or where to put my text and will it save?
Sorry loads of questions I know.

Also I do have four other keys that I could set up for other stuff but can do that later. Or should I do it all at once?

There are a number of different Mame emulators in RetroPie, and that exclude the FBA emulators. What Mame emulator are you using?

You need to open the config file for the emulator and place your text above the #include line. You don't need to do all your config at once. You can edit the .cfg file at any time.

@Concat Hi. I have no issues with Mame. I'm not sure how to put my above text in an emulator. I will try as you have suggested. Does my text look correct and complete?

@Concat I ended up doing it through retroactive by binding all.
