Yellow Lighting

Hey guys,
I have since a few Days a Yellow Lighting Symbol in my screen. I know it undervoltage but my soucre is 5A so Why i get this lighting? I do Update Retropie and The Pi but nothing works... plz help -
Are you overclocking your PI ? There's nothing to 'update' to get rid of the undervoltage lightning, you either use a better source - as recommended by the Pi vendor - or remove the overclocking settings.
Please give more details about your system - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first -
@mitu
No overclocking

Anker 5A
Another question might be: What kind of case do you have? Is the cable powering the Pi making a solid connection?
I had an issue with the NESPi case, and getting a lightning bolt. I resloved this by taking a pair of pliers and pinching the end of the USB cable that plugs into the power header. I also took a tiny slot screw driver and squished the connections a bit on the GPIO pins. Unfortunately with the nature of these USB cables, they have very small wires that don't carry high current well, so a secure connection is a must, otherwise power-loss will happen easily. -

I know Anker makes a quality power supply. I have several but I don't think just because it's 5A that it will automatically deliver 5V reliably.

USB cables...where is the best source for good cables? any specific brand?

Are you using a power supply that has a USB connection port?

The cabel is good connect with PI and i have no Case.

@sent1 You listed the amperage, but what is the voltage output of your power supply?

usually?

I was just trying to point out if you're using a power supply with a detachable USB cable watch your length. I have a few that are 3 meters or 10 feet and the longer they are the more susceptible they will be to undervoltage.
I do like Anker power supplies and it sounds like you have plenty of amperage and it may even be a 5V power supply. The thing is high amperage doesn't mean a smooth 5V delivery. A good power supply will have the "filter" circuitry to deliver clean consistent power as well as under load.
Most of my USB cables are Amazon and I just rely on reviews if it's a decent cable. Just don't buy bottom of the barrel price cables. :)
