Amiga Emulation games intermittently speeding up
-
Details requested:
Ultimate Retro Console, only config changes as advised via your Facebook support team, just to config the controllers
Power supply used - the one supplied with the console
Controllers used on Amiga - just the controllers you supplied plus keyboard and mouse you supplied
USB devices connected - the keyboard and mouse you supplied
Error messages received: None
Emulator: Amiga
How to replicate the problem: It is intermittent and only on some games, happens on and off during game, for some games the whole game is affected, none of the games I have tried run properly. -
@foggy If you bought retropie you got ripped off its free software, also they don't support any third party images, so you either have to contact whoever sold it to you or start fresh with an official image from this website

We don't have a Facebook support team. You've been scammed.

Ultimate Retro Console,
This is your problem i'm afraid. Point 5 of the "Read this first" :Make sure you are using an official image, or have done a manual install yourself. We will not support 3rd party images.

Ok thank you. I will go back to the Pi Retro Gaming Facebook page and screen shot the form comments as they directed me here.
Thank you for your help, I am not technical enough to follow the instructions you provide and I though I had purchased a games console that would work.
I appreciate your input.

Apologies all I am on the wrong forum. The console suppliers have their own forum and have been very helpful indeed so far, I am confident they can help me resolve this.

I'm not. Because after this is resolved it will always be something else. All the while profiting off of others hard work. I'd quit while you're ahead and start from scratch with the official image, that way you know exactly what you've done to it to be able to fix it, and you can guarantee there won't be any malware etc. Plus it will enable all the helpful blokes here to provide assistance as needed.

@herb_fargus this has beem resolved. I appreciate your point of view amd I am sure there will be more issues, mainly because I do not understand the basics of configuration. I am just not technical enough to use "the image" on what do I use it? I don't own a PC just my phone and work laptop. Buying a stand alone console was by far the cheapest option for me. However, I had no idea they were infringing copyright, I just responded to a facebook ad Is there a pending lawsuit?

on what do I use it?
A raspberry Pi for £32.

I suspect that you paid a lot more than £32. You can build the console by plugging it in and using the image from this site with an SD card. You can buy a full gaming kit for about £65. The software is free. I would guess you forked out over £150 so the scammers are making 100%profit by selling something that is illegal to sell.

It really is quite simple to set up:
