Playstation wont show up on Retropie HELP

@edmaul69 thanks for your response, I'm new to the pi, so this part was a headache thank you! so let me see if I understand, if I'm using a file that has bin or cue I need to put BOTH files in the psx folder?

@lovelorn88 yes. Always. Thats how it always is. Not just on the pi.

@classicgmr so the ps1 games HAVE to be unzipped correct? I noticed all the other systems on retropie don't, its hard to tell what kinda ps1 room I'm downloading until its already downloaded, like with re3 I couldn't bring it up, it wasn't a cue or bin file, some other kinda name seems to be random

@classicgmr for example i downloaded Tomb Raider and got 1 cue file with a tone of 'music track' files. I dont understand that

This can be easly achieved with ISOBuster (free edition) with the following procedure:

Run ISOBuster
Open Image File and select the .cue file of a game with multi-bin files.
Right-Click on "CD" (the top one on tree-structure) then select Extract CD and select RAW (.bin .iso)
Now select a path where to save the file, change from the dropdown .iso to .bin
Rename your file and add .bin at the end of the name.
Save the file, and you are promped to save a new cue file.
Now you have a multi-bin game with .cue file, packed in a single .bin file plus a new .cue file.

Multiple BIN files must be "condensed" back into a single file.

I personally use Daemon Tools Lite to mount the game and IMGBurn to create the new files.

@classicgmr wow. Lol. Alright thanks. ALOT of stuff but im sure well worth it... I'll definitely need to back up all my work on the pi

@lovelorn88 I learned quickly to back up everything after a change. Until I finally got it stabilized I backed up every hour or two until I finished.

Here's another site that said the same thing only in easier terms:
"Mount CUE sheet with something like dameon tools or Alcohol 120%. Then simply use IMGBurn and choose the mounted drive to make an image from disc in the wizard option. Then choose where you want the file and it will be converted from a multi-track BIN/CUE file set to a single BIN/CUE file set."
