I am looking for some help on how to fix some of the games i have for ps1. When i am playing them, they seem to freeze up at the worst time in the game. It doesn't freeze up for long or crash. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how did you fix the issue?

I’ve noticed this behavior on more than just ps1 games, but any cd based system. I think it’s just a read speed issue and notice it more when using an external usb drive. I haven’t found a way to make it stop.

@lostless i gotcha. the only games i've encountered this on is ps1 games and its only like maybe for 5 seconds at most. it just seems to happen at the worst point in the game.

Have you tried disabling vibration? That's known to cause some issues.

Are you running it from SD Card? If the card is some cheap card or not a Class 10, you can run into issues like this

Is it a name brand SD Card? Where did you get it from?
