So I have a rock candy Xbox 360 controller . The analog sticks work fine in Daphne and reicast. But I can not get them to work in mame or PlayStation. I went into mame and retroarch to set it to analog but they won't work. It registers when I map the controller in emulationstation but will not work in mame or psx. But I don't know why it works in Daphne. It shows up as a generic Xbox 360 controller. Any help would be great.

So like I said the analog sticks work in Daphne, and Riecast and that's it. I also tried it on my PC and they work. They don't work in emulationstation or mame, or PlayStation. Any ideas?

The analogue sticks don't do anything in Emulationstation by design, it is always the d-pad to navigate.

For PlayStation games, the game has to support the analogue mode, and you have to enable it in the retroarch menu. This is how it was on the PlayStation (there was an analog button on the pad to enable it for games that supported it).

If you just want analog sticks to emulate the d-pad, you can sometimes achieve this in retroarch menu, it is called something like analog to digital pad and you can set it to left or right stick.
