Retropie for Raspberry Pi 3 B+?
-
Hello to all at retropie.org as the title suggests I'm curious to know if you guys are planning to make a downloadable image file to allow the retropie to be able to run on the new Pi 3 B+? When I received my 3 B+ I tried to download the image file meant for Pi 2/3 but sadly I get the rainbow screen with the lightning bolt on the top right corner. Please let me know asasp thank you.

I guess I should've said the latest version of Retropie and not going back to beta ^^;
-
@dragoncrystal the beta will be the next version and is updatable. We will announce a new image on the site when it's ready. Few more changes to do.
-
Keep in mind that even if you wait for the final image, you'll probably want to update it soon enough, at which time it won't be the final version anymore either.
-
@BuZz Is it possible to make a sticky post about the Pi 3B+ and the stretch image? Seems like this keeps getting asked.
-
I suppose I can wait, still have my Pi 3 thats at the current version to tie me over till the new version comes out.
-
@hurricanefan I don't have time currently and on mobile. Another moderator can do it if they wish (seems I am expected to do everything!).
The topic is already pinned. But another thread can be made in support. People will still ask though. In the same way they don't read the other sticky topics.

I'll put one together.
-
@mediamogul thanks. Pretty sure people will still post about it :-)
-
@buzz Sorry, I always remember your name first. Is there a moderator list?
-
Oh, I'm sure. Maybe we can head a few off at the pass as the kids say... in the 1880s.
-
@hurricanefan you can write @Global-Moderators to tag mods.
