      i tried to update retropie-setup so i can update to stretch to use my pi 3 b+ and got this error message:

        Well i just renamed the file and updated. There was nothing of any importance in the file so not sure why the error.

          You made a change to it and git didn't want you to lose it just in case it was something you might want to submit.

                I had the same error once on a fresh install with one of the carbon theme files. Like I said it was a fresh install and i never touched the file. I ignored it and i believe it was mentioned by someone else here. Deleting and reinstalling carbon fixed it. But yeah i think sometimes git has this issue.
