Idea: save configurations/save files

Any one good enough at scripting to make one that saves configuration files and saved game data to a plugged in USB key?

If you move /home/pi to the usb drive, then you can change the save directory to that as well.
I think it's in the retroarch config under save game directory and save state directory.

Thanks, hadn't seen that setting while going through things. I only ever opened retroarch settings for adding integer scaling
