When trying to exit Kodi 17.6 everything freezes on a black screen, and then it boots back into Kodi. I've tried both Exit and Shutdown System unplug power,, Nothing works. all Three have the same result. I cannot even get to my box/s homepage to try and fix this issue. I have not loaded any add=ons, repos, apps. etc to this device within a weeks time. Thinking about throwing it the trash. Anybody ?? Thanks.

@dannz53 Are you using RetroPie ? This is not a Kodi and/or Android Box forum. In RetroPie, Kodi is just an extra package to install. If you're using RetroPie, then please give more info about your system, as requested here.

@mitu I'm sorry. I thought this was a TECH forum inorder to help people with their TECH problems. I've seen numerous questions and answers in here dealing with Kodi matters and Android matters.

@dannz53 While they are Kodi questions, they're strictly related to the version installed through the RetroPie script that integrates in Emulationstation (part of RetroPie). As for Android questions, RetroPie does not run on Android and there aren't any topics related to it here.

For Kodi general questions, use their forum:
