      Hi everybody,

I am trying to know if it is possible to edit the cores and emulators in the games gamelist without going through the option "A" from the selection of the system to the launch of a game?

@mikozzz Sure, the Runcommand launch menu read/writes the emulators.cfg file present in the /opt/retropie/configs/<SYSTEM> folder. You can edit it yourself if you want to change the default emulator for the system or add specific ROM overrides.

thank you @mitu , but I wish to change the emulator of each Roma every time. ex: irontfisrt.zip = lr-fbalpha2012, ironhors.zip = mame4all and just edit a gamelist or others?

in the arcade folder sometimes something rom does not get up and we have to change the emulator for this rom, comment do it to do it as a gamelist file without going through the launch of the game.

@mikozzz You can't do that from the gamelist, it's Runcommand that decides which is the emulator, not the frontend. As I said, you can do this per game, but in the file I referenced.

When you select a game, before it runs, you get a message in a small box telling you which emulator is being used. While that is on the screen, press a key on your keyboard, and you will get an option to change the emulator for that game. Once you do, every time you run that game it will use that emulator. That way you can use a different emulator for each game.

To allow you to do this for MAME and FBA emulators, put your roms in the Arcade folder.

yes that I know @DougA, but I do not wish to launch the games every time but the fire via Notepad ++
@mitu I'll try to see what I can do with emulators.cfg to scale my games
