Mame2016 failing on my Pi 3B+
-
Hi so i was trying to download Mame2016 on my 3B+ cause of certain games i wanted to test out on the system but i always end up getting this error which i thought at first it was cause of my overclocking but when i downclocked back to the 1.4GHz i was still getting that error and also this is from my logs as well when trying to get it

I think this has been reported before, but it's a problem due to the newer compiler, reported upstream [1] but without a solution .

Well the thing i am curious about now if i plug my SD card into my normal Pi 3 and try it out that way because 2 main reasons why i got the 3 B+ was cause of the internet connection cause it is nice to see a file download on there at 12mb/s and the fact for overclocking you could overclock the GPU this time as well.
Edit: The one thing i am wondering about is there a way to install this using WinSCP instead since i was able to download the files for it on my PC.

Well i decided to try out on my Pi 3 first to install the files needed and then swap the card over to my 3B+ cause there is some roms i want to test out to see if they work better on the newer Pi.
Ok tried it out on my Pi 3 and still getting the same errors on getting it which is strange cause when i was on 4.2 i was able to download it but now i keep getting that error message after 17 minutes.
