      Hi,

Was looking a bit of help.
      I’m currently using a PS3 Controller......

When recently accessing Mame Arcade games particularly Wrestlefest. When I hit the ‘R2’ button a black pop up menu appeared where I could pick options for the game/ enter cheats or select the difficulty.

I don’t know what I’ve done but can’t get this menu to appear again. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Assuming that you're using lr-mame2003, you can delete /path/to/your/mame/roms/mame2003/cfg/default.cfg.

Wherever your MAME ROMs are, there will be a directory named 'mame2003'. Inside of that you'll find another directory named 'cgf'. From there you can delete the file named 'default.cfg' and the default behavior should be restored.

@boyler1872 How did you transfer your ROMs ? The folder can be accessed from a PC, using file shares (\\retropie\roms\mame2003), or using the File Manager menu item in the RetroPie system.

Sounds like you've hit the tab key. Your right shoulder on your ps3 controller will be assigned to the tab key of the keyboard. If you hit tab key on your keyboard you will get the same menu. This is the standard menu in mame and allows you to change settings for mame or game specific settings such as difficulty like you have seen.
