PSP Emulator not reading controller inputs
-
Hi everyone,
I recently made my Pi into a retropie, so apologies for the noob question.
I am doing fine with a PS4 controller on most emulators, but when I try and play PSP games the controller isn't recognized, apart from the start button. I went into the controller config using a keyboard and set everything to the correct settings on my controller but it still refuses to read any inputs.Any help appreciated!

Hi, hello, howdy and welcome. If you would, please provide a bit more information about your setup. The required information is detailed at https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

Yes of course, apologies!
It's retropie v4.4 on a RPi3 model B, 16 Gb MicroSD branded as RPi so not sure on the origin. The PSU also came with it and doesn't have any identifying information on it.
I've got a 32Gb Sandisk USB plugged in for ROMs and the emulator for PSP I am using is PPSSPP.Hope that's enough info, let me know if not.

You are saying that you opened a ROM, pressed ESC, went to Settings > Controls > Control mapping, and the controller buttons worked there to setup, but then do not work when you launch the game?

Think I may have been a bit dim - I was originally adding extra inputs and it didn't do anything, I've since overwrote all of them and it is reading the input now. Thanks for your help folks.
