Sd card formatted in pi terminal when I was messing around. Now it's detected by Windows but when I try and format it I get a message "disk is write protected" I Googled this and found 2 fixes that don't work. Using disk part to remove write protection and a reg key fix. No joy.

Is there anything else I can do to fix this so I can reformat it in windows and basically reinstall?

        Hi

What sort of SD card is it? Standard size or Micro? If standard have you checked whether the lock slider on the side is in the unlock position?

        Cheers

        Paul

It's a San disk micro sd 32gb. It's been working fine in my card reader on the laptop but me being stupid I think I've messed up. The sd adaptor has no switches on it.

I've managed to get it sorted by using a different formatting tool.
