    can i use my laptop as a router for the Rpi if so how

      ok so i have an rpi model 2 b+ which has no wifi only ethernet sadly the location im at only has wifi is there a way i can use an ether net cord to hook my rpi up to the laptop so i can access the internet reason im asking is i wont be home for a few weeks and i need to update a few rpi settings via internet
      so bassicaly i want to use my laptop as i guess a virtual router so i can access the internet to update my pi
