      Hey all.

I heard from somewhere that modern emulators are able to cut out slowdown issues that would normally be found if one were to actually play on a real console.

Games like Super Metroid and MegaMan all had these problems back in the day.

Are there any emus on Retropie that can do this?

If so, how can one change the options for this to occur?

      Cheers.

@Addison yes. some emulators have the ability to overclock the emulated CPU. lr-snes9x-next and lr-fba-next do, for example.

the way to look for/change this setting in retroarch is to go:

        1. select + X to access the RGUI menu
        2. quick menu > options
        3. look for the setting 'cpu overclock' or something like that.
        4. raise it a bit
        5. quit and reload he game.

the effects may be good or bad depending on the game/system.
