I've got a shutdown script (shutdown.py), I just updated through the retropie menu and the startup throws an error when it tries to startup and dumps me at the login prompt after throwing the error.
      Another line says GPIO.Setup(5, GPIO.IN, pull_up_down = GPIO.PUD_UP).
I'm not sure what to edit to get rid of this error, my momentary switch is attached to pin's 3 and 5 on the gpio.
      Any help would be appreciated.
      Thanks

Are you sure that the error was not always here, but you just see it now because of this bug ?

@sano Bingo!, just never saw the runtime error before. I went into raspi-config and set it to autologin to console and it boots normally into Retropie, thanks!
