I would like a Mod to delete my thread that got me banned..
-
@timmyp Why ?
-
You're asking us to delete a conversation of public record that several people took part in, not just you. We can remove your account and all the posts associated to you specifically if you like, but the thread will likely remain. Also, your use of profanity in the keywords here after already being banned will probably warrant an IP ban as well. I get that you're upset, but this situation was of your own making and this is an all ages forum.

@mediamogul Its content I created.. Why cant I remove it from the forum? How is what I said terms to ban me.. But the content that got me banned is still there... I dont understand that logic. If I go.. It should go too.

Your request has been noted.

I think someone was just a little trigger happy when they banned me... After an Administrator said this to me "which is just straight up greedy douchebaggery". To me that is some BS,And Im going to respond back with some BS. And thats when I got banned.
-
No, you got it all wrong. Besides the foul language - which earned you temporary ban - you turned out to really be a greedy douchebag trying to sell RetroPie and profiting from the project's work. That's why you got banned.
As for the deletion, I don't think it should happen. It's not the first and not the last scammer trying to 'argue' his/her case resulting in a ban. -
@mitu The fact is I could make alot more money on just making the case by itself.. With different artwork on it. And selling it to the community here. But I just want to hook my friends up.. I have a arcade collection. And friends ask me if I can build them something.. And I started helping them out with their own console, instead of a full arcade cabinet. Im not slinging these on craigslist or anything like that.. Ive posted only twice that I was selling them. And it was all last year. I profit 35 bucks on something that takes me 6 hours to make.. I dont see that is any where near being a greedy douchebag.. I think you guys are just over reacting... Do you have any friends that want to to do this too. but you just tell them to do it them selves? Not everybody is capable of this. Not everybody even has a computer. I dont get the hate you guys are slinging.

I agree. I think it should stand as well, but I believe it's within the terms of the most recent user agreement to request account/post removal. Still, if the thread stands, he was quoted by several users and the inane context of the conversation should remain apparent.

If you disagree, then why not just continue being a douchebag and leave us out of it. What's more, if you don't think you're doing anything wrong, why ask people's opinion about it on a public forum? It's the mark of lunacy to do so and then expect other people jump through hoops to erase the mess it causes when you don't like the outcome.
Edit: Regardless, you're request has been properly flagged for review by the administrators here.

I honestly thought it was just liability protection to RetroPie if I did decide to sell it.. But obviously I was wrong. The concept of: You can have this but you cant re-sell it.. Is just hard awkward to me. But I wont sell any loaded images to my friends anymore.. Ill have to sell them a bricked console.. Then go teach them how to build their own I guess..
-
Ill jump through your hoops and loopholes to get to the same point.. Cant call me greedy then can ya? But at the same time...... Its the same darn thing!

You've made your case and your request is up for review. In the mean time, I'm banning your new account for the same reasons as your old one and locking the thread. If we need to communicate further, an admin will either temporarily lift the ban or contact you directly.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
