Nespicase+ led not functionnal ?
-
Hi there,
Just bought a Nespicase+ with a raspberry PI 3B+. Once both installed together, everything seems fine with retropie, but something's strange : the case power led just blink once at the startup, then stops (which is annoying : I can't clearly see, once closed, if the PI is ON or OFF).Though, the case opened, I can see the raspberry leds are working fine.
Any idea of the problem ?
Thanks for your help !

@cedrichammer did you install the script for the nespi +? If you did then it doesnt come on right away but will come on after a several seconds.
-
@edmaul69 no I didn't install any additionnal script. Only retropie.
Should I do it ? Which script are you talking about ?Thanks !

@cedrichammer RetroPie has no support for a specific case or any kind of LED. The company making the cases provides support for it through their script - https://github.com/RetroFlag/retroflag-picase

@mitu thanks for the link, I'll try there !

@mitu Excellent advice : I just installed the script as mentionned behind your link, and it works like a charm now !!
For those who are experiencing the same problem, here is the how to :
Example for RetroPie:
Make sure internet connected.
Make sure keyboard connected.
Press F4 enter terminal.
In the terminal, type the one-line command below(Case sensitive):
wget -O - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/RetroFlag/retroflag-picase/master/install.sh" | sudo bash -
@cedrichammer I forked the script from retro-flag. This gots the advantage of natural behaviour of the buttons. If you press reset during an emulator is running, you will be kicked back to ES, you press reset in ES main screen, ES will restart again.
Power off means complete shutdown.
You can install it from this thread -
@cyperghost Excellent ! And thanks, I'll try it :)
