Hello everyone, I got sound from video snaps in menu but none in-game. How is that possible haha. Anyway, i googled for two hours yesterday and i could not get this issue fixed. Running 4.4 of course with 3 not plus( should i upgrade?)

Ok here is what i did yesterday, hdmi drive is uncommented and set to 2. Inside ES's raspberry menu i set audio to hdmi, i tried to changed retroarch config to sdl2, alsa, alsa thread... still no sound.

No sound for any system, arcade, genesis, nes etc...

      Oh god(YOU), please help meeee!

      Thanks :)

Can you try increasing the system's sound volume from a SSH or command line using alsamixer ? I know it sounds stupid, but maybe the default volume is too low for you to hear it.
Otherwise, you can enable verbose logging when starting a ROM with the Runcommand launch menu (https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/#runcommand-launch-menu), play a bit, then exit and get the /dev/shm/runcommand.log file. Paste the contents of the file to pastebin.com so we can take a look at it.
