      So when I go to install the NDS Emulator from the experimental packages I get this:

      Could not successfully builds NDS emu - DESMUME
      (/home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/lr-desmume/desmume/desmume_libretro.se no found).

      I can only install it from source too. No option to install from binary.

        I got the same!

        Try to install NDS Emulator from Source on RPi-Zero.

          Have you tried to install DraStic? It runs 100% on a Pi3 and I am very pleased with it.

          I know this doesnt answer your question and it requires minimal fiddling to get it set up but when it runs, it runs great!
